Where we work

If you take a map of the world and throw a dart, wherever it lands, there are children and communities facing hardship and crisis. We have seen that there is not enough play and laughter, and as clowns with the tools to solve this, we feel it’s our duty to do so.

Spreading smiles worldwide

Back in 2008, a group of clowns bundled into a van and set off on our first ever project: a visit to to bring laughter and happiness to kids in rural Romania.

Since then, we’ve put on 9,170 circus shows and play sessions across four continents, and created more than half a million smiles and happy memories for kids growing up in difficult situations.

Everywhere we’ve been

Since 2008, our teams of smile specialists have left a trail of laughter and silliness spanning 24 countries: Albania, Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Colombia, Croatia, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Hungary, India, Jordan, Lebanon, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Turkey, and here in the UK.

Where we’ll be in 2026

Throughout the year, our national branches are putting on play programmes for children in the UK, Norway and the Netherlands.

Elsewhere in Europe, we’re maintaining our longstanding work in Greece and running play programmes in Bulgaria, Moldova, Romania and Serbia.

In the Middle East, we’re back in Jordan to bring play and laughter to young people with disabilities and young refugees from Palestine and Syria.

Later in the year we have plans to revisit Colombia, expanding on our work there in 2025.
