Autumn magic with the Flying Seagulls
This autumn, our team are taking the magic, laughter and joy of Seagull shows on the road, with tours in Bangladesh, Belgium, Poland, Jordan, Greece and the UK.
Each tour features a different team and a unique show, and we’ll be bringing you stories from the children we’ll be visiting and the magic we have planned.
Here’s where you’ll find us over the coming months …
Greece
Our team are back in Greece with our Sensational Circus Cabaret Caravan tour, bringing our Showmobile to children in Roma schools as well as sharing smiles with unaccompanied children who’ve fled their home and sought refuge in another country, but without any parents or family around them.
Belgium
Launched in 2024, our Train ‘N’ Tour format combines on-project training for newer members of the Seagull team with delivering play, laughter and relief to children affected by crises. Inside both the French- and Dutch-speaking parts of Belgium, our Seagull team will be visiting children throughout the country who live in reception centres for asylum seekers, ready to bring a bit of warmth and laughter during these colder months.
The UK
Now into its sixth year, our Laugh ‘n’ Play UK tour is a regular part of the Seagull programme. We bring play to children and families across the UK: in domestic violence shelters, children’s hospices, and toddler groups in areas of higher deprivation, as well as supporting bereaved children and young asylum seekers.
Greece again
Our brilliant team of Seagulls are bringing the Sensory Circus to town: a specially designed show for children and adults with additional needs, filled with sound, colour, texture, and joyful mess. Each performance is tailored to the people in the room by our specialist Seagulls, making every show a one-of-a-kind experience.
Bangladesh
For the first time ever, our team is visiting Bangladesh, with our Bright ‘n’ Bold tour! We’ll begin in Cox’s Bazar, sharing smiles alongside host communities through workshops, skill-shares, and participatory educational activities. We’ll also be visiting schools in underserved areas of Dhaka and Khulna, as well as rural communities, bringing creativity, learning, and joy to areas of high deprivation.
Jordan
Our Joyful Jordan tour is back and we’re ready to bring laughter and joy to children facing unimaginable hardships. In refugee camps and community centres, our magical, musical and circus activities offer children safe, playful spaces to process emotions and experience fun.
Poland
Starting with a pilot in the Netherlands, our team will then travel to Poland, visiting centres supporting children displaced by the war in Ukraine, including those who have travelled without their parents and are growing up in institutional care. Our Playtime Poland tour will deliver a new magical puppet-making workshop, letting children create, paint, puppeteer and keep their own puppets. These sessions are designed to spark creativity, playfulness and joy.
