Following the terrible earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria in February 2023, we responded later that year by launching our first-ever project in Turkey.
Since then, we’ve dedicated much of our time in Turkey to supporting families who lost their homes in the earthquake, by bringing circus shows and children’s play activities into the βcontainer citiesβ that have provided temporary accommodation for the displaced.
We’ve also been supporting young refugees from Syria, visiting schools and centres for children with disabilities, working with children in institutional care, and visiting schools and community centres in areas with local hardships.
