Project Description

Working in collaboration with GOSH (Great Ormand St Hospital) we delivered sessions to long term inpatients during their activity week. This took place 4 times in the school holiday period. The program included games, magic show, circus workshops and group music. We feel very strongly that children facing long term illness are in great need of relaxation and play, both for their emotional well being and physical state. Play, entertainment and laughter has been proven to boost health, lower blood pressure and reduce stress. These kids need this more than most.

Emerald Centre, Leicester

Over a short period we worked with The Emerald Centre and satellite groups in the area. The centre users we worked with include adults with disability, disadvantaged youth and the elderly. We ran a mixture of interactive music workshop, circus play and group performance. The sessions were very well received and we are hoping to grow the relationship and collaborate again over the next 12 months.
